STRATEGIA E STRUTTURA DEI GRUPPI AZIENDALI NEI PERIODI DI CRISI
Abstract
This paper investigates the behavior of business groups during crises, especially with regards to strategic decisions and structural changes.
In particular, the study considers four clear-cut cases of leading Italian groups (FIAT, Montedison, Pirelli, Zanussi) once fronting both union claims post-968 and the two oil crises (1973 and 1979).
Enlighted by these empirical analyses, the paper proposes some possible interpretations of the behavioural trends of business groups during crises.
