Abstract

La ricerca scientifica in ambito biochimico svolta nella Facoltà di Scienze M.F.N spazia dallo studio di piastrine ed eritrociti umani,ad indagini sul modellamento della matrice extracellulare in condizioni patologiche. Interazioni poliammide-DNA e caratterizzazione molecolare di alcune varietà di oliva Taggiasca sono altri temi sviluppati in questi laboratori. L'attività di ricerca viene svolta da nove docenti ufficiali (2 P.O.; 4 P.A. e 3 R.U) ai quali si affiancano 7 Dottorandi e 6 Borsisti. I paragrafi che seguono illustrano nei dettagli le linee di ricerca ed i risultati conseguiti da ogni gruppo costituito.

The biochemists of the Faculty of Sciences are mainly involved in studies in the fields of platelets, erythrocytes, extracellular matrix, polyamine-DNA interactions and molecular characterization of pickled olive "Taggiasca" cultivar from western riviera of Liguria region. The personnel is currently made up of nine persons of the teaching staff (2 Full Professor, 4 Associate Professors, 3 Researchers), and, in addition, seven Ph.D. students and six Research Fellows. The paragraphs below illustrate, for each group, the main research lines and the results so far obtained.
